4 Days South Laos Tour

Day 1 : Pakse – Ban Lak 19 – Bolaven Plateau – Champassak

We leave from Pakse at 8:30 am and head west. Our first stop today is in Balak 19, where we will see how local people produce knives using traditional methods. Going forward by driving through tea and coffee up to the plateau of Bologna, the plateau is home to many ethnic minorities, including Mon-Khmer, their homeland. We continue towards the magnificent Tad Fan and Tad Nngoung Falls, a great place for swimmers and where we will have lunch over beautiful scenery. After lunch and spending time relaxing, we visit a local market that sells a variety of products and is a fascinating place to look around! Continue from our market, head to Taipei Waterfall, where we will visit various local people such as Lau Ta O and Oak. After spending some time at the waterfall and visiting different ethnic groups, we travel to Champasak City, where we spend the night in a local inn.

Day2 : Champassak – Wat Phou – Ban Kiet Ngong – Ban Hat Xay Koun – Don Khone

We start today with the beginning and visit the great UNESCO World Heritage site we spend here to explore this beautiful ancient site before returning to our lodging for breakfast. After breakfast, we go to Ban Kiet Ngong village, where we have to start our trip to the Xepian National Conservation Area. Lunch will be provided at local restaurants, we continue to make short transfers to Nanoyun Market, where we board our boat for Donkon on the way we will enjoy Sunset and see local fishermen work before arriving at Sala Donkhone just in time for dinner.

Day 3 : Don Khone – Liphi Waterfall – Don Det – Don Khone

Day 3 is a break after breakfast, biking to old French parking lots before cycling along the old French train to Liphi Waterfall. We return to lunch at Seng Aen Restaurant, where we enjoy some delicious meals among the beautiful surroundings. In the afternoon after lunch and spending some time relaxing, we traveled to Danida in different places from Don Dynasty, we took the boat back to Don Coon, where we had to rest at night.

Maybe: biking 4-5 hours, 1 hour walking, 1.5 hour boat ride

Day 4 : Don Khone – Nakasang – Veunkham – Khone Phen Waterfall – Pakse/Cambodian border

After breakfast, we take a 25-minute boat trip to Nagasan, and from here, ride a small car to the Duda Dadam station, which we board for an hour’s journey to an Irrawaddy Dolphin Can be spotted! We spend about two hours here searching for dolphins before going back to Done Sadam. When we come back 30 minutes to the border of Laos and Cambodia to visit the largest Khun Pheng waterfall in Southeast Asia! We enjoy lunch here at the sauce while enjoying the spectacular views of the fall, before returning to Pakse or, alternatively, we can take you to the Lao / Cambodia border.
